THE CROATIAN National Tourist Board reports that starting today, July 3, airline routes from Paris, Lyon and Nantes to Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik will be restarted.

Croatia Airlines has announced the first July flights connecting Croatia and France: starting July 3, Croatian Airlines will fly the Paris-Zagreb route on Fridays and Sundays.

According to Danijela Mihalic Djurica, director of the CNTB office in France (Paris), there will be a flight connecting Split and Paris starting July 11, as well as a flight from Lyon on Saturdays.

Air France is also planning to restart flights from Paris to Zagreb, as well as from Paris to Dubrovnik starting Saturday, July 4. Starting July 13, the French national airline will fly from Paris to Split as well.

The number of reservations is increasing

Transavia also announced that its flights to Croatia will be restarted in July, with flights from Paris to Split and Dubrovnik, as well as from Nantes to Dubrovnik. Meanwhile, EasyJet will restart its flights from Paris to Split and Dubrovnik.

"The safety of the destination, epidemiological measures, and the availability of information on entering the country are becoming key criteria in choosing a holiday destination. That is why many people from France are currently interested in Croatia," says CNTB director Kristjan Stanicic.

As flights to Croatia are being restarted, French tourists will once again be able to visit Croatia, says Mihalic Durica, adding that the French are interested in these flights.

According to the information available to her, many French tour operators such as Fram/Promovacance, Travel Europe, Top of Travel, Ovoyages and Voyamar have recorded an increase in the number of reservations for trips to Croatia.

"If Croatia continues to have a good epidemiological situation, a further increase in the number of reservations is expected, especially in August when most French people use their vacation time, but also in September and October, as some airlines have already announced flights to Adriatic destinations in those months, primarily to Split and Dubrovnik, Croatian destinations that the French visit the most, as well as to Zagreb," says Mihalic Djurica.
