New data: there are three new coronavirus cases in Croatia

THE CROATIAN Coronavirus Task Force sent a press release with new information about the coronavirus in Croatia.

There are three newly infected people, two of them from Zagreb, and one from the Split-Dalmatia County.

Here is the statement by the Task Force in full detail:

"There have been three newly infected people in the last 24 hours, with a total of 2,258 infected.

Two of the newly infected people are from the city of Zagreb, and the third person is from the Split-Dalmatia County.

The total number of recovered individuals is 2,141. One hundred and seven people died. Another ten people are currently being treated," the Task Force announced.

Two newly infected individuals are from Zagreb, 40 people were placed in self-isolation

Both cases from Zagreb are related to foreign countries.

"Both newly infected individuals were tested in the Clinic for Infectious Diseases' Dr. Fran Mihaljevic.' One coronavirus case comes from Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the other individual has been in contact with a person outside of Croatia," Vjekoslav Jelec, head of the City Health Office, told Index.

It was unofficially confirmed to Index that one of the infected is an employee of an institute in Zagreb.

A dozen more employees should be tested today. As of yesterday, 40 people in Zagreb have been placed in self-isolation.
