THREE MORE attendees are coronavirus-positive, Sime Vickovic, Head of the Zadar County Coronavirus Task Force stated this morning for the HRT. He also stated that there is a tennis player among them. "I don't want to name anyone, but I can say that one tennis player is coronavirus-positive," he added.

An N1 reporter revealed that the infected tennis player is Borna Coric. The fitness coach of Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov also tested positive, and so did Djokovic's coach Marco Panichi according to the Serbian media.

"The Zadar Institute of Public Health tested 23 people - players, coaches, and the entire team, and three of them tested positive for coronavirus this morning. We will organize accommodation, a so-called quarantine for players who tested positive for coronavirus and professional staff. We are also making a list of everyone who came into contact with the people who tested positive. Additional teams have been formed," Vickovic told the HRT in a telephone conversation.

Coric made a statement on social media

"Hi everyone, I wanted to inform you all that I tested positive for COVID-19. I want to make sure everyone who has been in contact with me during the last few days gets tested! I am really sorry for any harm I might have caused! I'm feeling well and don't have any symptoms. Please stay safe and healthy! Lots of love to all!" Coric stated in a Facebook post.

"I would like to inform you that after last night in Zadar and the cancellation of the Adria Tour, I got tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible, and my test came out negative. Although I have no symptoms associated with the coronavirus and I believe that everyone who has been in contact with me recently has no reason to worry, I will go into self-isolation for 14 days because it is important that we all help reduce the possibility of the infection spreading despite the negative test result.

I will follow all instructions for self-isolation and will carefully monitor the development of the situation. If there are any changes, I will inform everyone in a timely manner. Thanks again to everyone for their support and concern about my family's health, as well as my health. I wish you all to stay healthy!", reads the statement by Marin Cilic.

Citizens who were in close contact with Dimitrov should contact the competent epidemiologist

After Grigor Dimitrov announced that he was positive for coronavirus, the Zadar County Coronavirus Task Force asked everyone who had been in close contact with the coronavirus-positive tennis player for more than 10 minutes to go into self-isolation.

Tennis player Grigor Dimitrov was at the Adria Tour tennis tournament in Zadar for the past two days. He stated via Instagram that he was positive for coronavirus, thus causing the cancellation of the tournament finals.

The Zadar County Coronavirus Task Force asked everyone who had been in close contact with the tennis player for more than 10 minutes to go into self-isolation for 14 days, as well as to contact the competent epidemiologist or their general practitioner.

"Residents of the Zadar County who think they might be infected, or who have been in close contact with the tennis player, should contact the epidemiologist on duty at +38598332765, and their general practitioner," the Task Force stated.

The Zadar County Institute of Public Health will create an additional telephone line and additional teams on Monday, the statement reads.

Due to the coronavirus situation, the organizers of the Adria Tour canceled the finals between the best tennis player in the world Novak Djokovic and Russian tennis player Andrej Rublev. Petar Graso's concert was also canceled.

All tennis players who participated in the tournament, as well as everyone who participated in the organization of the tournament, will be tested for COVID-19. Some of them got tested last night.
