GORAN IVANISEVIC tested positive for coronavirus. The former Croatian tennis player becomes the latest victim of coronavirus after the series of Djokovic's tournaments across the ex-Yugoslavia area.

"Unfortunately, after two negative tests in the last ten days, I have just found out that I tested positive for COVID-19. I feel well and don't have any symptoms. I would like to inform everyone who has been in contact with me that I tested positive and ask them to take extra good care of themselves and their loved ones. I will continue to self-isolate as I have been doing already. I wish everyone who got infected a speedy recovery," wrote Ivanisevic, former Wimbledon winner, and current Djokovic's coach.

"We are responsible, but they are trying to win political points on our account"

Ivanisevic was the director of the Adria Tour in Zadar, which was canceled before the finals after it was revealed that the Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has coronavirus. It was followed by announcements that Djokovic, Borna Coric, and Viktor Troicki also have coronavirus.

"I feel responsible; this was one big, great thing. I'm sorry for all the infected people, but we have no influence over some things, such as this. It only bothers me that we turned out to be the real culprits, and people are trying to win political points on our account while Zadar has the lowest number of infected. They lay the blame on us, and that's not right," said Ivanisevic for RTL and revealed that Djokovic is feeling well, but it's not easy for him because of everything that has happened.
