A TOTAL of 27 new coronavirus cases have been reported in Slovenia in the last 24 hours after 1,143 tests were conducted, and there have been no new fatalities, the country's health ministry said on Tuesday.
This is a considerable increase from Monday, when there were 14 new cases and only 393 tests.
Currently 16 people who have contracted the disease are in hospitals, including three in intensive care.
The number of confirmed infections in Slovenia has grown to 2,456 since the start of the epidemic. There are 266 active cases, and to date 129 people have died of COVID-19, the ministry said.
