Eight airlines returning to Zagreb this week
EIGHT airline companies with eight international lines will return to Zagreb Airport this week, announces Croatian Aviation.
An Austrian Airlines plane with 26 passengers from Vienna has already landed today in Zagreb, while 36 passengers traveled to Vienna. It’s the first Austrian Airlines flight to Zagreb after the suspension of the operations due to the pandemic, and the company will now operate daily on the Vienna - Zagreb route.
Air France and Turkish Airlines returning on the same day
On June 1, the Paris - Zagreb route will be established again by Air France, which announces only three flights a week on this route in the beginning.
On the same day, Turkish Airlines will return to Zagreb with the Istanbul route. The company normally has two flights per week to Zagreb in the summer schedule, but the number of weekly flights has been reduced, and it will now operate on this line five times a week.
Another regular guest is returning to Zagreb Airport. Qatar Airways restarts the Doha - Zagreb route with three flights a week. In the summer schedule, it usually had as many as 14 flights to Zagreb a week, i.e., two times a day.
Air Serbia to connect Belgrade and Zagreb throughout the entire week
Lufthansa, which regularly flies from Frankfurt and Münchena to Zagreb, will restart the regular München - Zagreb route as of Wednesday, starting with flights three times a week.
From the same date, Air Serbia will reconnect Belgrade and Zagreb, flights that are on sale seven days a week.
On Thursday, July 2, Eurowings will restart the Stuttgart - Zagreb route, which will operate two times a week throughout July.
As of June 4, the KLM airplanes will fly to Zagreb again. The Dutch airline company will operate on the Amsterdam - Zagreb route as of the date mentioned above. Three flights per week with airplanes of smaller capacities have been announced, according to Croatian Aviation.
