At least 15 people die of coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 208 new cases
IN THE past 24 hours 208 new cases of COVID-19 were identified in Bosnia and Herzegovina and at least 15 people have died as a result of the disease.
Local health authorities informed that 1,454 tests were conducted in the Federation entity and 161 positive cases of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed.
Ten people died in that entity, with four of the deaths occurring in the capital, Sarajevo.
Sarajevo continues to be the hot sport for the disease with 66 new cases confirmed in the city since Monday.
Laboratories in the Republika Srpska entity conducted 388 tests and confirmed 47 new cases.
Of the five people that died in the Serb entity, three were from Pale, east Sarajevo.
A total of 153,000 tests have been conducted in the country since the outbreak of the epidemic confirming 14,500 cases of the infection.
Currently there are about 6,000 active cases and the death toll in the country has climbed to 440.
