Odnosno, krenimo od početka." počela je priču Dominique Astorino, autorica na portalu Pop Sugar Fitness, priču koja ju je obuzela prije neki dan, tijekom grupnog treninga Kayle Itsines i njenog slavnog BBG programa.
Za vrijeme vježbe do nje je došla ikona Kaylinog BBG-a Kelsey Wells koju je teško ne primijetiti unutar cijele njihove zajednice. I to zato što je postigla toliko zavidne rezultate, a da nije skinula gotovo ništa kilograma.

BRING IT. Hello!! I don't know about you, but I am SO ready for a new week. It's going to be a crazy one for me, so it's even more important than normal that I kick it off strong.???? So many things happen in life that are out of our control. Though we can't always choose how our day is going to go, we CAN always choose our reactions and attitude, and we CAN make little daily choices that will help steer us in the direction we want to go far after the challenges of today are over. For me, daily exercise is one of those choices. Getting my sweat on each day is something that keeps me grounded, helps me let off steam, and lets me either turn everything off for a minute or really take time to process what's going on. So no matter what you may be facing right now, remember two things: you CAN, and you're AWESOME. Hey babes!?? Today for #transformationtuesday I wanted show you my #bbgprogress from when I started until now. As I've mentioned before, I didn't take "proper" progress pics after my 2nd and 3rd rounds. I had NO intention of ever sharing this journey with anyone (ESP publicly??), and honestly felt during that time I wasn't making much physical progress. However, I dug through my old iPhone and was able to find some swimsuit selfies???? from wks 24 and 36 (apprx) to help you see! For reference, the top left photo I was 37 weeks pregnant, and the top middle photo was about 8 wks post-partum. I was exclusively nursing my son until my 3rd round. || My favorite part of looking at this little collage is the change in my face between the starting pic and round 1. Both were in poor lighting in our basement apartment- both photos I was going on no sleep, with no makeup, hair full of spit-up. But in that round 1 finish photo, I AM SO HAPPY. I had accomplished something I honestly didn't think I could. I had worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices and I was proud. It's interesting for me to think how I didn't feel I was making very much physical progress much of this journey. I couldn't see physical changes in myself much of the time, yet I still continued with @kayla_itsines #bbg , because physical progress isn't everything. In that round 1 photo I was happy not because I finally had my quick fix dream bod that I set out to get in 12 weeks, but because I had discovered the INCREDIBLE benefits of setting goals, taking care of my body and living a healthy life. I began to gain much needed confidence- something that is INTERNAL. Something that, unlike society tells us, you cannot find from looking any certain way or getting compliments. It comes from believing in yourself and loving yourself NOW while working towards your goals in a healthy way. A znate li što je toliko slatko u cijeloj ovoj priči? Činjenica da Kelsey sada ima samo 3,5 kilograma manje nego kada je bila trudna, a razlike u izgledu za vrijeme trudnoće, odnosno nakon poroda i sada - drastične su. Nije sve u kilogramima, znate, a bolji dokaz od ovoga neće naći. Odnosno - hoćete. Na društvenim mrežama. Svaki dan.

HI GUYS!!???? I am sorry for being a little MIA but I've been so crazy getting ready to ?? to London manana for my amazing adventure with @adanola !! Have I started packing? That would be a negative.?? BUT, I did do my nails. Priorities.????????. Haha btw I'm over on snapchat too as mysweatlife -- I'm typically the worst snapper in the world cause I forget I even have it.???? BUT @rpwells and I will be snapping alllll our adventures abroad so feel free to follow along if you'd like!˘???|| Today for #transformationtuesday I'm doing a #throwbacktuesday to those last super fun weeks of pregnancy. Haha I love looking back at my progress from my start of #bbg (which was 8 weeks post partum) but sometimes I like to look at this as well. Why? Because, though I was SO thankful for the miracle of being able to be pregnant, I was always TERRIFIED that pregnancy would "ruin" my body. I sincerely believed that I would never be able to "get my body back" after having a babe, and a lot of people told me not to try or to expect to, as "your body will never be the same again." Guess what? They were right about that. My body isn't the same. And my view of it isn't the same either. The miracle of pregnancy and delivery showed me a strength I never knew I had. It gave me the admiration and appreciation to care for my body with love and respect, by living an active, healthy life. It gave me the determination and motivation to know that this body is strong, and it can do hard things. I am healthier and happier in every way than I was before I was pregnant. I weigh more, I'm not as skinny, and I can't fit into my "pre-pregnancy" jeans. But I am stronger, healthier, and more fit then I ever thought I could be. Don't sell yourself short. If you've had precious babies and don't recognize yourself in the mirror, instead of beating yourself up or feeling self concious, look at your reflection with admiration and think of the amazing things your body is capable of. LOVE YOURSELF NOW, while working towards your goals. || SIX ROUNDS OF BBG DONE || ?????????????? >> all the feels right now you guys! || Disclaimer: Sooo we snapped this pic today in literally the last moments of daylight and it was still so dark I had to brighten the exposure a tad. I usually NEVER filter or adjust my transformation photos whatsoever, so I will take proper ones sometime this week and show you my full body 72 week front/back transformation I promise! || HI GUYS!! AHHH somehow posting transformation photos never gets easier????. But as of today, I have officially completed SIX (thats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6??) whole rounds of @kayla_itsines and @tobi_pearce Bikini Body Guide ( #bbg ) program. SAY WHAA??? Like I said, ALL THE FEELS. On the one hand, I keep saying it over and over because I actually CANNOT believe it. I cannot believe how far I've come because it literally feels like YESTERDAY that I was stalking @kayla_itsines profile looking at all these amazing transformation photos and going back and forth in my head between "omg I need to do this! I can do this!" And "ugh I could never do that. How did they do that!?" Well I bought the program and decided to take the plunge. I had never been able to stick to any workout program for more than a month, and at first #BBG was no different. I started a few (or 6) times before I FINALLY just did it. I couldn't imagine finishing the first guide then, and if you would have told me I would not only finish the first 12 wks but fall hard core in love with fitness and finish 72 (w/no plans of stopping) I would have laughed in your face and bet you all the $ I had against it. || STOP BETTING AGAINST YOURSELF. || I don't want you to think it takes 72 weeks to change your body or see progress, it doesn't. I DO want you to see is that YOU CAN DO THIS. You can do hard things. Stop holding yourself back from whatever it is you're too scared to try and start where you are. Work for your goals. I don't remember exactly when the left photo was taken, but I do remember how I felt. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY BODY. But my mindset was completely flawed. Instead of looking in the mirror with appreciation and seeing the beauty in what my body had just done for me, I looked at myself with disgust and saw only "flaws". I didn't recognize myself and to be honest, that scared me. I am not proud to admit that, but it's true. Shortly after that photo was taken I came across @kayla_itsines account, and (after multiple failed attempts) finally began my BBG journey. I hoped it would be a quick fix to getting back into my pre-baby jeans and being "skinny" again. My first week, I could not do a single leg raise or push-up. I LOATHED working out. But I struggled along and did the best I could. I soon started noticing a drastic change. NOT yet a physical one, but a mental and emotional one. My anxiety calmed down. My self talk began to not be so harsh. I did a push-up, then I did two. I began to feel stronger and with that strength came a kind of self-confidence I had lost for a very long time. In the beginning, I literally could not imagine completing 12 whole weeks of #bbg. 80 weeks later, I can not imagine ever stopping. I began the program to weigh 120 pounds and be thin. Now I weigh 136 and I am strong. I began the program to "get fit quick" and along the way truly discovered and embraced a healthy LIFESTYLE. I have worked hard for my physical progress, and I am proud of that. But it is the progress you can't see that I am most proud of. When I began taking care of my body by living a healthy life, I began believing it was WORTH being taken care of. || CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF || 60 weeks of @kayla_itsines #bbg program between these photos. || You can find motivation in a million different places. But at the end of the day, it's up to YOU. No one can do it for you. If you find that realization daunting, remember that on the other hand, no one can stop you. And THAT should feel empowering. You'll workout today, or you won't. You'll eat healthy today, or you wont. You'll be kind to yourself, or you won't. You'll be positive, or you won't. || When I realized and accepted that these things are ENTIRELY in my control, it was a game changer. Am I perfect? Not even close. In any way. But I have learned to take accountability. You will never progress if you're waiting for motivation, waiting for a new week, a workout buddy, an easier schedule. But when YOU CHOOSE to do it even when excuses are plentiful and energy is scarce, THAT is where progress is found. That is where your self love will start to blossom. Because you can do hard things. You can change your circumstance. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL NOW. But me telling you that won't make you believe it. So please! For yourself, CHOOSE TO ACT on your dreams, and when you do, don't downplay your efforts. You ate a salad for lunch instead of McDonald's!? Hell yeah! You got your sweat in at midnight instead of watching Greys? YOU GO GIRL. Celebrate your little victories, because those are what will add up to completely change your life. And guess what? You're gonna fail. So don't waste time or energy being mad at yourself when you do. Pick up your resolve, and do better tomorrow. || Choose healthy. Choose happy.
